Production Operator

Reporting to: Shift Supervisor

Hours of work: Shift work

We require production operators to join our highly motivated and experienced production shift teams:

Responsibilities:

• Attaching customer material, using tying wire, to jigs for galvanising
• Use of power tools and overhead cranes
• Cleaning down and fettling material after hot dip galvanising
• Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
• Ensuring safe and controlled movement of production around the factory
• Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
• Ensure all work is completed to specified quality and safety standards.

Experience:

• Ideally have 1 years’ experience in either engineering or construction sector or have some sort of labouring background
• Forklift license an advantage but not essential
• Experience of working on night shift also an advantage
