Based in Draperstown, Magherafelt we are centrally located to service customers from the engineering, construction, agricultural and private sectors. Job Title: PRODUCTION OPERATOR
Reporting to: Shift Supervisor
Hours of work: Shift work
We require production operators to join our highly motivated and experienced production shift teams:
Responsibilities:
- Attaching customer material, using tying wire, to jigs for galvanising
- Use of power tools and overhead cranes
- Cleaning down and fettling material after hot dip galvanising
- Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
- Ensuring safe and controlled movement of production around the factory
- Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
- Ensure all work is completed to specified quality and safety standards.
Experience:
- Ideally have 1 years’ experience in either engineering or construction sector or have some sort of labouring background
- Forklift license an advantage but not essential
- Experience of working on night shift also an advantage
